Had a great day out of Warner springs. 17 miles past the town is a small house owned by trail angel mike herrera. He offers hikers food and a warm place to stay. The hiking today was beautiful. 2000 foot climb over 17 miles...in other words, nice and easy. Walked through
interesting sandstone boulder fields.
